My mom and dad visit the ATM at Wells Fargo all the time but I am more fascinated with the stagecoaches on the checkbook boxes. Did you know the password that made the horses stop running-it was Dakota.

I drew this piece with a razorpoint pen on a piece of old cardboard and it is from my favorite movie right now UP. Down near the bottom you can see Russell and Mr. Fredrickson as they were flying inside the house just before the storm.

Valentine's Day

I made this card for Valentine's Day. I also have a sketch I made from a book we read in Miss Karen's class-The Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Fall drawings

I'm seven years old, getting taller and growing as an artist this Fall and I've made these new sketches using my sharpies. The photo is of my friends and I in second grade on our scooters and that's me with the blue shirt and red helmet.

Exploring new mediums

Having just started second grade my art teacher Miss Bell suggested that I try out some new mediums. My dad gave me black prismacolor pencil and I experimented with sketching as well as a few new pieces with sharpies.

Summer 2009 Drawings

Here are some drawings I made at my home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico this summer. While I am here I like to go to the hot springs, read, ride my scooter in the park, eat ice cream in the zocalo and give names to all the bugs and butterflies I meet. I made some drawings of a favorite movie called Night at the Museum-there is Larry with his flashlight and the cavemen when they accidentally set a fire. There is a Mexican church and favorite stories like Goose. Most of them are from my imagination like the junkyard with the cello that can be fixed, kid plugging into the sun and man meeting the mermaid.

Seven in the summer

It's been a busy summer in my studio. When you are seven years old and school is out there is so much to do...ride my scooter, swim at the pool, go to the library to read and try out my brand new sharpies. Before we head to our home in Mexico I asked my mom and dad to share these recent drawings and photos taken at Niki de Saint Phalle's garden in Escondido. The colors and crazy creatures are so beautiful that I would like to build a house that looks like that.
